Clinical Approach

Treatment is based on an individualised understanding of the presenting psychological difficulties and the broader context in which they occur.

Assessment may consider previous mental health history, current stressors, sleep, relationships, caregiving demands, identity changes, available supports and other factors relevant to psychological wellbeing.

Intervention is selected according to the clinical presentation and treatment needs.

Psychological appointments are available in person and via Telehealth. Telehealth may provide additional flexibility during pregnancy, the postnatal period, return to work and other stages where attending appointments in person may be difficult.
